After Covid: ‘I’ve blood clots and a braced leg, but I’m home’

After battling Covid-19, my journey to recovery has been challenging to say the least. I now find myself dealing with blood clots and a braced leg, but despite these obstacles, I am grateful to be back home.

The physical toll of the virus left me weak and vulnerable, but with determination and the support of my loved ones, I have been able to make small strides towards regaining my strength.

Living with blood clots has presented its own set of challenges, requiring me to closely monitor my health and adjust my lifestyle to accommodate this new condition.

Having my leg braced as part of my recovery process has been a daily reminder of the hurdles I have overcome and the resilience I have found within myself.

While the road to full recovery may still be long, I am hopeful that each day brings me closer to feeling like my old self again.

My experience with Covid-19 has taught me the importance of cherishing our health and the moments we have with our loved ones, as life can change in an instant.

Although the physical scars of my battle with the virus may be visible, the strength and gratitude I have gained throughout this journey are immeasurable.

As I continue to navigate the challenges of my recovery, I am reminded of the power of resilience and the unwavering support of those who have stood by my side.

While my journey may not be easy, I am comforted by the knowledge that I am not alone and that each step forward is a victory in itself.

Through it all, I remain grateful for the opportunity to be home, surrounded by the warmth and love of my family, and for the chance to embrace each new day with hope and courage.
